By bus

From Bangkok Northern Bus Terminal (MOCHIT Bus Terminal) to Chiang Rai, there are various types of buses operating

2 bus routings are possible:

1) Bangkok - Chiang Rai getting off at Chiang Rai Bus Terminal
From here to Phu Chaisai Resort (approx.50 Kms)
Public Taxi is available or transfer service by Phu Chaisai. Booking in advance is required via email or phone call.
Individual transfer costs Baht 500,-. Shared van costs Baht 200,-/person.

2) Bangkok - Mae Sai getting off at PASANG INTERSECTION (ทางแยกป่าซาง), direction to Doi Mae Salong by advising
the bus driver to stop at this intersection.
From here to Phu Chaisai Resort (approx.13 Kms)

By train & bus

There is no train up to Chiang Rai.
The nearest trin station is CHIANGMAI, then continue by bus or car to Chiang Rai.
From Bangkok Main Railway Station (Hua Lum Phong Station) to Chiang Mai, daily trains are available.

Chiang Mai to Chiang Rai by bus
From Chiang Mai bus terminal (ARCADE bus terminal), there are buses to Chiang Rai operating from 07.00-17.30H.
