We always heard the word "Mindful", understand it means we aware of the present of whatever we are doing. The most common mindfulness is mindful breathing. When watching our breath, aware of how we breathe.
However, when we do yoga asanas (postures), how to bring mindfulness in the practice?
This workshop will bring you to the practice of mindfully move in and out of the posture and holding the posture with the right mindset to reap the maximum benefits of yoga postures. It is not a standard class that we practice everyday, it will focus mainly to few asanas that will open your eyes and mind how mindfulness plays in the quality of your practice. Teacher will bring you to experience different mindsets while holding into postures, to have more concrete understanding which will bring your yoga practice to another level.
Not suitable for total beginner.

Prunes are excellent dietary food which aid with digestion systems. Because they are loaded with fiber and natural laxatives, which help regulating bowel movement.
The soluble fiber in prunes help to normalize blood sugars and increases insulin sensitivity, which can help to control type 2 diabetes. It also help lower cholesterol level, as soluble fiber will reduce the amount of cholesterol produced by the liver during bile excretion.
The potassium in prunes is also help for reduce high blood pressure and prevent the thickening of the artery wall cause by cholesterol.
As a high antioxidant food, prunes are known to combat free radical and prevent certain cancer and diseases.

Bromelain, the key enzyme in pineapple which banishes inflammation effectively. It reduces swelling, helps against sore throat, treats arthritis and gout, and speeds digestion of proteins.
Pineapple is an excellent source of manganese and Vitamin C, which is an essential cofactor in a number of enzymes important in energy production and antioxidant defenses.
Pineapple Lassi for Digestion:
-2 cups chopped fresh pineapple
-1 cup yogurt
-1/2 cup water
-Pinch of salt
-4 tbsp honey

Citrus zest is full of compounds that fight cancer. When you squeeze a lemon (or peel an orange), save the skin.
The compounds, known as polymethoxylated flavones (PMFs), are antioxidants that belong to a group of plant chemicals called flavonoids.

Useful Kitchen Herbs in the Treatment of Menstruation |

Asafetida (Ferula fetida)
Asafetida is known to increase the secretion of the female hormone, progesterone. Thus it facilitates menstruation. Using asafetida gum fried in ghee and mixed with goat’s milk and a spoonful of honey for a month can reduce the pains during menstruation and also make the flow reduced.
Dill (Anethum sowa)
This fragrant herb is efficient in stimulating menstrual cycles. It helps women who have delayed periods to get their periods on time. Young anemic girls are prone to spasmodic menstruation, which can be quite painful. A decoction of dill is prepared with the leaves of parsley to treat such problems.
Ginger (Zingiber officinale)
Cold climates can sometimes cause painful and irregular periods. An infusion of ginger sweetened with sugar is taken for correcting such problems.
Lemon Grass (Cymboposgon citratus)
Lemon grass is used in painful and difficult menstruation. It can be taken in the form of a tea. |

1. Eat slow and mindfully. Properly chew the food and feel the taste.
2 .Avoid drinking fluids during meals so that the digestive juices will not be diluted.
3 .Drinking fresh lemon water, mint tea or coriander seeds water throughout the day helps to stimulate digestion and purify the body.
4. Keeping meals simple and combining foods in the right way help the stomach and small intestines to properly break down and distribute the nutrients to the different cells in the body.
5. Increase fiber intake to prevent constipation and reduce risk of other digestive complaints.
6. Sleeping immediately after eating is also a harmful practice.
